At this point, the best way to do this is to either automate PowerPoint, or use PowerPoint Automation Services in SharePoint, if that is an option for you.

I don’t know of any open source libraries to do this. There may be commercial products, but I have no experience with them.

Is there a chance you could release a simple skeleton of PmlToHTmlConverter with support for only few basic shapes?
For example, converting a title and a rectangle to HTML.
That way the community will be able to start contributing more and more parts.
It could progress fast based on the huge number of developers that’ll benefit from such a tool.

Do you think it’ll be better to use HTML, SVG or to embed one inside the other?
SVG seems to better fit PML but it’s missing some text features like word wrap and line breaks.

    Thanks

    Hi,

I am also interested in a simple rasterizer, to have slides converted to images.

I a trying to write one, but I am far far away from a begining of a working thing…
