Template problem with merging slides

So I just found your blogpost on Merging PowerPoint Presentations and I can only thank you for that!

I have a problem though I have templates which have 3 slides in it the first cover slide then the slide for all the content and a contact slide at the end but somehow the template isn’t getting set to the presentations I am merging. And after merging I get error messages stating I haven’t declared the smtClean attribute. Sorry I am rather new to Open XML and coding in general but I really love the idea behind this one. Is there any chance of help here ?

Hi,

You can ignore those errors. That is a bug in the Open-Xml-Sdk validation, where it complains about the existence of an attribute that is allowed.

Are you able to open and use the presentations? If that is the only error, you should be able to.

I regularly search and remove from consideration those errors when validating presentations.
